They met at a kickboxing gym in Colorado Springs. Ben worked as a trainer helping his aunt get the gym up and running, when Kelsey along with a coworker starting working out there. It wasn't long after when Kelsey's coworker knew she had to introduce the two, and of course she made sure they exchanged phone numbers. They texted back and forth for a while, and finally Kelsey got Ben to go hiking with her. "I guess you could say that was our first date," shared Kelsey. What started out to be gym 'partners', it grew into something more than that. They knew they shared a special friendship.

Ben proposed on Kelsey's birthday in February about a year after they met. He took her out to one of Kelsey's favorite restaurants in Colorado Springs. After a nice dinner, they were walking back to the car, when suddenly Ben got down on one knee, and asked Kelsey to marry him. "I wish I could remember better exactly what he said, but I was in so much shock, I can't remember," happily shared Kelsey. With much excitement and no hesitation, Kelsey said, yes.

On July 22nd, Ben and Kelsey hosted a stunning wedding filled with love, laughter, and happiness. They married at Woodstock Farm in Bellingham, along the shimmering ocean and mountains in the surrounding. Ben and Kelsey promised each other to continue their love not by way of mere words, but actions.
