It was February of 2013 and there was a crazy blizzard that hit Boston that shut down the city and transportation for 2+ days. On Saturday night, Jeff and Claire both had escaped to People's Republik (a local bar in Cambridge) to go to the same birthday party. Claire was starting up a game of darts with her roommate and her boyfriend when they ended up needing one more partner. So Claire asked the cute guy sitting at the bar by himself, which happened to be Jeff! It was a fun evening of laughter and getting to know one another. What started out as a 'game of dart' partner grew into a sincere friendship and then blossomed into something more beautiful.

Later down the road, in Carmel, Indiana over Christmas break, Jeff and Claire were on an evening walk through a beautiful park. His mind spinning, heart over flowing with love, Jeff had one important question to ask Claire. He got down on one knee and asked the girl of his dreams to be his bride. Without hesitation, Claire said YES!

I'm so honored to have had taken Jeff & Claire's engagement photos! And what better place than Maui?! We spent the evening strolling through Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort - what a gorgeous resort! And of course we finished the session with some romantic sunset shots. Thank you Jeff & Claire for allowing me to take your engagement photos!
