It all started with that first date at Wander brewery. Sirita left work telling her co-workers that she was meeting a guy named "Joe", gave them a brief description of what he looked like and told them to provide the information to the Bellingham Police Department if she didn't show up to work the next day. After all, what else is a girl supposed to do before meeting a stranger for a blind, internet date?! Drinks turned into dinner at a local Mexican restaurant where the conversation continued to flow. It kept flowing even after he accidentally voiced his thoughts out loud and said, “Man, my mother is going to love you!” Sirita silently giggled as she felt a special spark inside her heart. Laughter filled that evening, and nothing else seemed to matter around them. It was all too wonderful. With the help of the restaurant staff politely letting them know their about to close, Joe and Sirita parted ways. But not for long. That night a spark of friendship turned into something so much greater and bigger they could have imagined. "She is completely selfless. She's always concerned about me and my well being. When it comes to my hearing loss, she is patient and helpful; truly the best at trying to communicate with me and help translate for others. She is the light of my life, the reason I draw breath," said Joe.

Joe set up a trip to Leavenworth just before Christmas 2015. Knowing Sirita had never been to Leavenworth in the winter time, Joe arranged for the two of them to relax at Fox Den B&B. "Joe is kind, and giving, and patient. He is my person," Sirita added. After planning the proposal for months, Joe couldn't wait any longer to ask Sirita to be his bride. Once the couple checked into their room, and their bags put away, Joe got down on one knee and asked Sirita to spend the rest of her life with him and be his wife. Probably being the biggest yes she has ever said, Sirita with tears of happiness said YES!

On July 15, 2017, the sun shined brighter than any other day. It was the most beautiful and perfect day to get married at Anderson Acres. As guests and family began to arrive, Sirita slipped into her white gown with the help of her mother and closest girlfriends. Her father with tears of happiness, held his daughters hand as he walked her down the isle to her forever after. Joe and Sirita said their vows, promising to love one another no matter what storms life through at them.

I am completely honored to have been the one to capture your first day as husband and wife. Joe and Sirita, I love how much you two truly love one another. Your love is contagious, and it's absolutely beautiful. The love you share between one another is the kind many look for, but don't find. My wish for you both is to never stop loving and caring for one another. Life will have its up's and down's, but hand in hand, you can overcome it together. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, love and laughter! Blessings to you both!
