Konnor and Marcia met at a chemical engineering party during their sophomore year of college at Washington State University. As it turns out, Konnor studied mechanical engineering, and Marcia studied bioengineering. The stars aligned that night when they found each other in the sea of chemical engineers. After 6 months of getting to know each other better, they started dating at the beginning of their junior year. Konnor and Marcia both loved going on adventures and making the most of their time in Pullman. As Marcia is from Colorado and Konnor is from Washington, they weathered summers apart and found that distance does make the heart grow fonder. "We are so thankful for skype and phones!" said Marcia.

After graduating, Konnor stayed in WA while Marcia moved back to CO. Although we have phones and computers to communicate, it just wasn't enough. They had made several trips to see each other throughout the following months. In February of 2016, Konnor and Marcia met up in Oregon to visit the scenic coast and see college friends in the area. And on a very special day, which happened to be the day before Valentines Day, Konnor and Marcia went on a short hike up to a beautiful waterfall. With only the sound of water and nature around, it was there that Konnor proposed. Marcia was completely surprised and of course, without hesitation, said yes.

Konnor and Marcia married officially on July 23rd in a civil ceremony in Whatcom Falls, in the presence of several immediate family members. A short month later, Marcia put on her beautiful white gown for a larger family and friends celebration. Wandering Waters couldn't have been a more perfect venue for this beautiful celebration. This magical day was filled with so much joy, laughter, love, amazing food, smore's roasting and dancing!
