Rothana & Nhu | Married - Wild Grass Photography

There was music, laughter and lots of dancing. It was Nhu's 21st birthday, and she was celebrating at local bar with her girlfriends. That evening she couldn't help but notice a tall handsome man that entered the bar. He too, couldn't help but notice this gorgeous lady. "My first impression was that he was very tall!" chuckled Nhu. After casually introducing himself, there was an instant connection and the two were inseparable. Shoreline Village, with colorful boardwalk shops, restaurants and scenic harbor views, was the most perfect 'first date'. There was a special spark that day, a spark of love. Rothana and Nhu knew then they were made for one another.

They had packed their bags and flew to Hawaii to celebrate Rothana turning the big '30', or at least that's what Nhu thought. But Rothana had something greater in mind than just his birthday celebration, the warm sunshine, the salty breeze and the tall swaying palm trees. He had one very important question to ask. It was early in the morning, Rothana woke Nhu up to go watch the sunrise. As they walked hand in hand on the beach, Rothana expressed how much love he had for Nhu in his heart. The sound of waves crashing in the background, Rothana got down on one knee and asked Nhu to be his wife. With the biggest smile on her face, Nhu said 'YES!'

On September 9, 2017, friends and family flew through the Pacific Ocean on their way to Maui for a joyous celebration. Rothana and Nhu hosted a stunning Hawaiian wedding filled with laughter, music and lots of dancing! They married at Gannon's Wailea and the open ocean as their backdrop. Rothana and Nhu promised each other to continue their love by sacrificing his/her other needs before their own.

Thank you Rothana and Nhu for having me document your love story! What a beautiful and magical day it truly was, and I couldn't have been more honored to have been apart of it. I wish you both a lifetime of love as you continue your journey now as one.
