I planned a styled Valentines Day session last year, but it was a fail. Why? It rained every time I planned one! It becomes a challenge when your trying to coordinate with all the vendors AND the weather :) So this year I told myself I'll schedule one earlier, even if it's freezing out, but as long as it isn't raining! It was 28F today, super cold, and Trista & Joel were amazing. I couldn't be more thankful for their positive attitude and their contagious smiles! It's so fun collaborating with local talented vendors. You meet so many people with different passions and it's fun to play a small 'part' in it!

Liliya with Kasko Makeup Artist did a spectacular job with Trista's makeup, really. I had emailed her once briefly explaining I wanted a 'valentines' color scheme for Trista's makeup. And wow, she went above and beyond! The bold look in her makeup was on point, and really made her eyes and her smile pop in all the photos. Thank you SO much!

For me, flowers always play a big role in any photo session. There's something about flowers that makes it all that much better. Inna, a close friend of mine, owner of Three Sisters Florist NW, hand curated this beautiful 'Valentines Day' hand bouquet. I had no idea of what type of flowers I wanted, and Inna assured me she'd take care of it. She did a beautiful job with the bouquet, couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you!

Planning this session I really wanted a vintage chair, and honestly I had no idea where look for one! I'm so thankful for a local photographer who had suggested I contact Wander Event Rentals. Honestly, I'm so so happy our roads crossed! Their inventory is amazing. So many unique pieces of furniture and accessories - and the best part is you can rent them! Highly recommend checking out what they have.

Mechealle DeVries made my wedding cake several years ago along with a couple other small cakes for events. Each time, her cake is the talk of the evening! So so very talented. Mechealle is so sweet, easy to talk to, and she'll make sure your 'dream' cake will become a reality. I'm always in awe of her amazing cakes!

Big thanks to the amazing team who helped make this shoot happen!
